You don't get a bird without help. You need a
school who brings you from the simple "pedestrian" to an independent
pilot's level. We apply a "progress control system" as it is used all
over in Switzerland. |

The school of Champoussin organises stages for
everybody interested in this sport. You are a future pilot? Do you
want to get a first contact? Well, just follow an introduction course
of one day. You first will make some skill exercises on ground with a
paraglider before you really step into the air doing your own little
flights. The first day we remain on our gentle beginner slope. If
after this day you whish to continue, you have to follow the formation
by two levels the Swiss Hangliding Federation requests. |

Parallel
to the practical progress, you follow a course of theory about
weather, knowledge of equipment, practice of flight and
prescriptions regarding hangliding.
The
first contact also can be made by a tandem-flight, with no limit
of age. This really will be an unforgettable souvenir!
What you must know:
The minimum age for forming is 16. You need a licence to fly with
a paraglider on your own.
